A rare sterling silver napkin ring and combination name place holder. It is hallmarked for Birmingham with the date mark being rubbed and the maker’s marks being LE for Lawrence Emanuel. It dates to c1900-1910. It has been very unusually designed having a space in the top of the ring to place a name card. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures 2.25 inches (5.7cms) across by 1.75 inches (4.5cms) front to back by 1.25 inches (3.1cms) wide and weighs 16 grams. A beautiful and very unusual piece.
