A superb English solid sterling silver apostle spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1978 with the maker being Birmingham Mint. It has been beautifully made with the terminal being in the form of St Simon the Patron Saint of Tanners and Saw Workers. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 5.75 inches (14.5cm) long by 1.5 inches (3.8cm) wide (dessert spoon sized) and weighs a respectable 35 grams. A very well made piece.
