A beautiful Hanau solid sterling silver pill trinket or snuff box. It is hallmarked with Hanau marks along with London import marks for 1899 and the importer being John George Smith. It has been superbly made being decorated with a cherub to the lid and scrolls to the sides. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and the lid closes tightly. It measures approx. 1.75 inches (4.4cm) across by over 1.25 inches (3.4cm) wide by over 1 inch (3cm) tall and weighs 22 grams. A very pretty piece.
