A rare English antique solid sterling silver place card or menu holder. It is hallmarked for Chester 1910 with the makers marks being the Grey & Co. It has been superbly designed being in the form of flaming grenade possibly associated with the Royal Artillery or Fusiliers. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (5.8cm) tall by 2 inches (5.2cm) wide across the base and weighs 44 grams. A rare very well made piece.
