A beautiful rare German Hanau / Dutch solid sterling silver tea caddy canister box. It is hallmarked with German Hanau marks, Dutch marks, and English import marks for London 1903 with the importer being B Muller & Son (Berthold Muller). It has been superbly made being embossed with 19th century scenes, the lid has a hunting scene. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean. It measures approx. 2.75 inches (7cm) across by 1.5 inches (3.8cm) wide by over 3 inches (8cm) tall and weighs 82 grams. A very pretty piece.
