A beautiful decent sized solid silver Indian or Ceylon box. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1900. It has been beautifully hand made being embossed and chased with scrolls and flowers and two faces, possibly Gods. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 4.25 inches (10.9cm) long by 2.5 inch (6cm) wide by 2 inches tall and weighs 132 grams. A superbly designed beautiful example.
