A superb English solid sterling silver apostle spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1976 with the maker being Birmingham Mint. It has been beautifully made with the terminal being in the form of St Bartholomew the Patron Saint of Tailors, Butchers, Farmers and others. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 5.75 inches (14.5cm) long by 1.5 inches (3.8cm) wide (dessert spoon sized) and weighs a respectable 35 grams. A very well made piece.
