A beautiful Dutch export solid sterling silver box. It is hallmarked with the Dutch silver marks including the lion and key export mark along with the date letter for 1891, it is also hallmarked with English import marks for London 1891 with the importers mark being that of Louis Landsberg. It has been beautifully made being in the form of a picnic basket. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (5.6cm) long by 1.5 inches (4cm) wide by 2.5 inches (6.3cm) tall to the top of the handle and weighs 34 grams. A very high quality example.
