A beautiful German Hanau solid sterling silver table box. It is hallmarked with German Hanau marks along with the English Import marks for London 1898 with the importer being John George Smith. It has been superbly designed depicting country scene. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and gilded. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.6cm) across by 2.25 inches (5.6cm) wide by 0.75 inch (1.9cm) tall and weighs 76 grams. A very well made piece.
