A superb English solid sterling silver two handled lidded cup or porringer. It is hallmarked for London 1897 with a makers mark being that of Holland Aldwinkle and Slater. It has been superbly designed having an acorn finial and is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 6 inches (15.4cms) wide including the handles 4 inches (10.5cms) excluding them by 4.25 inches (11.2cms) tall and weighs 285 grams. A high quality well made piece.
