VENICE ITALY SOLID SILVER GILT LION of SAINT MARK SOUVENIR SPOON c1910 ANTIQUE

A rare solid silver gilt Italian Venice souvenir spoon. It is hallmarked with the 800 standard mark, I would date this piece to c1910 -1920. It has been superbly designed with the terminal being in the form of the Lion of Saint Mark and the bowl depicting the Momento del re Vittorio Emanuele in Venice. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, small scuff to the gilding on the bowl back. It measures approx. 4.25 inches (10.8cm) long by 1 inch (2.6cm) and weighs 12 grams. A nice quality little piece.
