Beautiful unusual English Georgian antique solid sterling silver sugar tongs. They are hallmarked with the Lion Passant mark, King George incuse duty mark only used 1874/5 and the makers marks of Hester Bateman. They have been beautifully designed being bright cut. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. They measure approx. 5.5 inches (14cm) long and weigh 30 grams. Superb examples.
