A superb rare English Edwardian antique advertising solid sterling silver dropper pencil. It is hallmarked for Chester 1905 with the maker being Sampson Mordan & Co Ltd. It has been superbly designed in that you hold it upright and press the button and the the pencil slides out, then you invert it and it slides back in, it works perfectly. It was made to advertise Hayward Tyler Engineering London who are still operating to this day. It is in super condition being free from chips cracks splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.4cm) long (excluding the pencil) and weighs 18 grams (including the pencil). A very nice quality rare piece.
