A beautiful American antique solid sterling silver jam or preserve spoon. It is hallmarked STERLING with the makers marks being Gorham. I would date it to c1870s. It has been beautifully engraved with flowers and a single letter C. It has been superbly made and is in super condition being free from dings splits chips cracks and repairs. It measure 6 inches (15.2cm) long and weighs 19 grams. A super quality example.
