A superb English Victorian antique solid sterling silver soft cheese or Stilton scoop. It is hallmarked for London 1894 with the makers marks being JA over TS. It has been beautifully made and interestingly engraved with a bird (marlet) crest used by several families including the Brid Family, The Coe Family, the Anstee Family, the Hedley Family and the Rathlow Family, plus others. It is in super condition having no dings splits distortions or repairs. It measures approx. 8.5 inches (21.1cm) long by 1.25 inches (3.3cm) wide and weighs 80 grams. A top quality piece.
