A beautiful German antique solid silver table box. It is hallmarked with most likely German 800 standard mark along with a makers mark AP. I would date it to c1900. It has been superbly made being embossed with a shepherdess scene to the lid and flowers and musical instruments to the sides. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (8.9cm) across by over 3 inches (8cm) wide by 1.5 inches (3.8cm) tall and weighs 110 grams. A very well made piece.
