A rare Edwardian English antique solid sterling silver box / potpourri or lavender pot. It is hallmarked for London 1906 with the maker being that of William Comyns. It has beautifully made having a cast pierced lid depicting a horse and carriage, possibly a wedding scene. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The inside is clean and gilded. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8.3cm) across by 2.5 inches (6.2cm) by over 1 inch (2.9cms) tall and weighs 59 grams. A beautiful rare piece.
