A beautiful German Art Deco solid silver gilt server. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown mark, the 800 standard mark and the makers mark of Hermann Behrnd. I would date it to c1920-40. It has been beautifully made being gilded and having a filigree handle. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures over 6.5 inches (16.7cm) long by over 2 inches (5.4cm) wide and weighs 34 grams. A very nice quality piece.
