A beautiful German Hanau solid silver box. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown mark along with the Hanau maker of Georg Roth & Co. It has been superbly made being decorated with cherubs. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It closes tightly. It measures approx. 1.75 inches (4.5cm) across by the same front to back by 0.5 inches (1.4cm) tall and weighs 30 grams. A very pretty piece.
