A beautiful made American solid sterling silver porringer cup or bleeding bowl. It is hallmarked STERLING along with the makers mark of Gorham the date mark being 1927. It has been superbly designed in a much earlier style and is in superb condition having no dings splits or repairs, a single faint mark to the base see final photo. It measures approx. 6.5 inches (16.4cm) across including the handle and 4.5 inches (11.4cm) excluding it by 1.75 inches (4.6cm) tall and weighs an impressive 126 grams. A stunning example.
