A beautiful large 915 solid silver snuff or trinket box. It is hallmarked with Spanish marks used from 1934 however it looks German (Hanau) so is possibly a little earlier and imported into Spain. It has been superbly designed being beautifully cast with 18th century figures and gilded inside.  It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The hinge is smooth and tight, the inside gilded and clean. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8.2cm) long by 2.25 inches (6cm) wide by 1.5cms tall and weighs 108 grams. A very high quality example.
