A superb rare cased English solid sterling silver presentation trowel. It is hallmarked for London 1991 with the makers mark being SJR. It has been superbly made being engraved with an inscription relating to St Edmunds Ladies College. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 8.5 inches (21.5cm) long by 2.5 inches (7cms) wide and weighs 125 grams, including the handle excluding the case. A unique interesting piece.
