A beautiful German solid silver snuff or trinket box. It is marked with the German 800 standard mark and a makers mark. I would date it to c1920s. It has been beautifully made with the lid being cast over mother or pearl. It is in super condition being free from dings splits chips cracks holes and repairs, the inside is clean and gilded and the lid fits well. It measures approx. 1.5 inches (3.6cms) across by 1.6cms tall and weighs 26 grams. A very pretty piece.
