A quality English antique solid sterling silver and enamel fire plaque place card or menu holder. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1919 with the maker being H C Freeman Ltd. It was most likely made to commemorate 200th anniversary of the foundation of the Royal Exchange Assurance Corporation. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 1.75 inches (4.6cm) tall by over 1.5 inches (4.2cm) across the base and weighs 51 grams. A very well made piece.
