A superb Hanau solid sterling silver pepper pot. It is hallmarked with Hanau German mark along with English import marks for Chester 1909 with the importer being B Muller & Son (Berthold Muller). It has been superbly designed being in the form of a traditional Dutch boy. It is in superb condition being free from dings, splits, holes and repairs. It measures approx. 3.75 inches (9.5cm) tall by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) across the base and weighs 82 grams. A quality piece.
