A rare super quality heavy English solid sterling silver box. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1978 with the makers mark being GC for Graham Crimmins of Edinburgh who specialised in modernist design and lectured in Scotland Cumbria and Birmingham. It has been superbly designed and is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean, the lid closes tightly. It measures approx. 1.75 inch (4.6cm) across by over 1.25 inches (3.6cm) tall and weighs 74 grams. A very nice quality unusual piece.
