A very stylish heavy English solid sterling silver tumbler cup. It is hallmarked for London 1968 with the makers mark being that of D & J Welby. It is been superbly designed having a round base, a copy of an earlier Georgian example designed not to tip on an uneven table top. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, faint marks from use inside. It measures approx. 2.75 inches (7cm) across by 2 inches (5.1cm) tall and weighs 102 grams. A superbly designed piece.
