A superb rare English solid sterling silver potpourri bowl. It is hallmarked for London 2000 with the makers marks being that of Maxwell, Aylwin & Co. It has been beautifully made from purple glass with a sterling silver cast dolphin top. It is is superb condition with the silver being is free from splits repairs and dings. The glass is free from cracks chips and repairs. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (9cm) tall by 3.5 inches (9cm) across at its widest point and weighs 342 grams. A superb rare piece.
