A superb Georgian antique solid sterling silver fish slice or server. It is hallmarked for London 1815 with the maker being William Eley I & William Fearn. It has been made to the Fiddle Pattern and engraved with a crest used by the Simpson family along with the motto ALIS NUTRIOR meaning "I am nourished by wings" or "I am fed by my wings".  It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures almost 12 inches (30.4cm) long by 2.75 inches (6.8cm) wide and weighs 158 grams. A super quality piece.
