A beautiful English solid sterling silver porringer cup or bowl. It is hallmarked for London 1929 with the makers mark being that of Ollivant & Botsford. It has been superbly made having two ornate handles and has been engraved with dragon crested used by the Castleton family. It is in superb condition, having no dings splits or repairs. It measures approx. 6.25 inches (16.2cm) across including the handles and 4 inches (10.3cm) excluding them by 2.75 inches (7cm) tall and weighs 184 grams. A superbly designed clean example.
