A superbly detailed high quality cast solid sterling silver wax seal. It is hallmarked with the English import marks for London 1895 with the importer being B Muller & Son (Berthold Muller). It has been superbly cast in the form of an 19th century mail/post boy. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. The initials to the end are FA or AF as they are entwined. It measures approx. 2 inches (5.1cm) tall by over 0.75 inch (2.4cm) across the base and weighs 20 grams. A high quality piece.
