A stunning large Chinese export silver bowl. It is marked with Chinese characters, the 85 standard mark and the makers mark of Sing Fat who operated in Canton in the early 20th century. It has been superbly designed being in the form of a water lily leaf. It is in super condition being free from dings holes splits holes and repairs. The handle is held by pins and sockets and can be removed for storage / cleaning. It measures approx. 9.5 inches (24.2cm) long by 6 inches (15.2cm) wide by 9 inches (22.8cm) tall to the top of the handle and weighs 266 grams. A very beautiful rare piece.
