A super quality cased English solid sterling silver Puritan era pickle fork. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1964 with the maker’s marks being that of Francis Howard Ltd. It has been superbly made being a replica of the Manners Fork of 1632, the earliest English hallmarked fork. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, the box its also great with just a scuff to the base. It measures approx. 7 inches (17.7cms) long by almost 0.5 inch (1cm) wide and weighs 43 grams excluding the case. A very well designed piece.
