A rare Irish antique solid sterling silver fork. It is hallmarked for Dublin 1827 with the maker being CM. It has been superb designed and has been engraved with two crests - a Lion which is used by the Sterling family and a Dog which is used by the Gore family. t is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, just the usual tine wear. It measures approx. 6.75 inches (17cm) long and weighs 37 grams. A super quality interesting piece.
