A rare super quality good sized German Hanau solid silver shoe. It is hallmarked with German Hanau marks and I would date it to c1890. It has been superbly designed being in the form of a shoe decorated with scrolls and flowers. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 4.75 inches (12.2cm) long by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) wide by 2 inches (5.6cm) tall and weighs 58 grams. A high quality rare and unusual example.
