A top quality heavy cased English solid sterling silver Royal spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1969 with the maker being J D Beardsmore & Co. It has been superbly designed for Prince of Wales Investiture in 1969 having a Welsh dragon to its handle. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. The case is also good with just a little damage to one corner - see final photo. The spoon measures approx. 6.25 inches (15.8cm) long by 1.75 inches (4.4cm) wide and weighs 90 grams excluding the case. A superb example.
