A super quality solid sterling silver religious oil or balm box often mistakenly called a pyx / wafer box. It is hallmarked for London 1922 with the maker being Tudor Art Metal & Plating Co. It has been superbly made having a screw top and being gilded inside. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures over 1 inch (2.7cm) tall by about the same wide and weighs 22 grams. A very high quality piece.
