A rare Irish Victorian antique solid sterling silver basting spoon. It is hallmarked for Dublin 1858 with the maker being John Smyth. It has been superb designed and has been engraved a similar crest used by the Carmichael family. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 10.75 inches (27.2cm) long by 2.25 inches (5.6cm) wide and weighs 96 grams. A super quality interesting piece.
