A superb English Victorian antique solid sterling silver soft cheese or Stilton scoop. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1855 with the makers mark being Martin, Hall & Co. It has been superbly designed having a sterling silver scoop and mother of pearl handle. It has been engraved with a lion crest used by the Farquharson and the Napier families. It is in super condition having no dings splits distortions or repairs. It measures approx. 8.75 inches (22.5cm) long by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) wide and weighs 76 grams. A very high quality piece.
