ANTHONY ELSON HEAVY 548g STERLING SILVER RICKETTS CREST TABLE BISCUIT BOX 1972

£885.00
Item number: 33632

A superb good sized very heavy English solid silver table or biscuit box. It is hallmarked for London 1972 with the maker being Hennell & Anthony Elson, most likely made by Elson for Hennells. It has been superbly designed being of oval form and engraved with a crest, I think this relates to the Ricketts or Rickett Family. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, it closes tightly. It measures approx. 5.25 inches (13.2cm) across by 3.25 inches (8.2cm) wide by 3.5 inches (8.8cm) tall and weighs 548 grams. A superbly made very high-quality rare, possibly unique, piece.
