A rare English solid sterling silver shooting butt marker box. It is hallmarked for London 1988 with the maker being Mark Houghton Ltd, it has been retailed by Hancocks - a very fine establishment. It has been superbly designed being in the form of a shot gun cartridge. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 2.75 inches (7cm) tall by almost 1.25 inches (3cm) across the base and weighs 102 grams. A very high quality rare piece.
