A superb English Georgian antique solid sterling silver basting spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1820 with the maker being WE over WF. It has been superbly designed made to the Fiddle Pattern with the terminal engraved with the crest used by the Boyd and Bell Families, beneath the crest is a letter B. It is in super condition having no dings splits distortions or repairs. It measures approx. 11.5 inches (29.2cm) long by 2.25 inches (5.8cm) wide and weighs 120 grams. A high quality piece.
