A rare extremely beautiful large English antique solid sterling silver chalice. It is hallmarked for Chester 1910 with the maker being George Nathan & Ridley Hayes. It has been superbly handmade being plannished and is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, possibly once completed gilded (base underside still gilded) - but this is nothing of note. It measures approx. 4.5 inches (11cm) tall by almost 5.25 inches (13.1cm) across the rim by over 4 inches (10.6cm) across the base and weighs 386 grams. A very good quality impressive piece.
