A super quality English Victorian sterling silver sporting or dog whistle. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1900 with the makers mark being that of Saunders and Shepherd. It has been superbly designed being engraved with flowers and leaves and is in super condition being free from dings splits holes distortions and repairs. It whistles loudly. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (5.6cm) long including the loop and weighs 7 grams. A very nicely designed piece.
