EXETER STERLING SILVER WHEELER or MOSS FAMILY CRESTED FORK 1851 ANTIQUE GRIFFIN

A nice quality provincial Victorian antique solid sterling silver crested fork. It is hallmarked for Exeter 1856 with the maker being Josiah Williams & Co (James & Josiah Williams). It has a been superbly designed and has been engraved with a griffin crest used by both the Wheeler and Moss Families. It is in very good condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 7 inches (17.8cm) long by 1 inches (2.6cm) wide and weighs 52 grams. An interesting example.
