A beautiful Danish antique solid sterling silver baptism or christening spoon. It is hallmarked with the Danish Copenhagen three towers mark for 1874 along with the masters assay mark and the markers mark being V. Christensen. It has been beautifully designed with the terminal being decorated with a cast crown, possibly a copy of a much earlier Danish piece. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 6.5 inches (16.6cm) long by over 2.5 inches (6.7cm) wide and weighs 70 grams. A beautifully made piece.
