HUNTER FAMILY GREYHOUND CRESTED STERLING SILVER LADLE 1889 62g ANTIQUE HOOK END

A very good quality well made English Victorian solid sterling silver sauce or gravy ladle. It is hallmarked for London 1889 with the makers mark being JA TS. It has been superbly made unusually having a hooked end and has been engraved with a Greyhound crest used by the Hunter Family. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 7 inches (17.5cm) long by 2.25 inches (5.6cm) wide and weighs 62 grams. A high quality very interesting piece.
