A superb very rare Edwardian English antique solid sterling silver snooker, pool or billiard chalk holder. It is hallmarked for Chester 1905 with the maker being that of Sampson Mordan & Co Ltd. It has been stylishly made having a sprung section to one side which holds the chalk. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 1 inch (2.6cm) square and weighs 6 grams. A stylishly designed rare piece.
