A beautiful English Victorian solid sterling silver dish. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1900 with the maker being Mappin and Webb. it has been superbly designed being of shell form with a looped handle and three ball feet. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, just some tiny black dots. It measures approx. 4.25 inches (10.9cm) across by a touch more from handle to the front and weighs 68 grams. A very good quality pretty piece.
