A beautiful German solid silver blue glass lined dish. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown mark and the 800 silver standard mark. I would date it to c1900. It has been beautifully made being decorated with cherubs and roses. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. No chips or cracks to the liner. It measures approx. 4.25 inches (10.8cm) across the lid by 3.5 inches (8.8cm) tall to the top of the finial and weighs 148 grams including the liner and 136 grams excluding it. A beautiful impressive piece.
